Having bought and sold several homes in the past, I was pretty familiar with with what should happen during my current home purchase in Charlottesville. I used Russ Moore as my realtor who came highly recommended from a friend in Amelia, Va. Russ introduced me to a lender that tailored my mortgage to fit my needs. His knowledge and experience were reassuring throughout the process and the transaction proceeded as scheduled and closed on time as planned. We met Russ Moore when we were in the process of purchasing land. He was not our realtor, but was selling the land for someone else. This was our first time trying to buy land so we didn't know what to expect. Russ constantly informed of what was going on as if he was our realtor. He kept us updated and told us what to expect. If it wasn't for Russ our process would have been so much harder. Russ calls us from time to time to check on us and see how the process is moving along although his part of the process has been finalized. Russ is truly a blessing and loves what he does. In 2002 I bought my very first home. Buying a home can be the best experience in the world but it can also be a nerve-racking time. Russ made it one of the best experiences of my life. He held my hand through the entire real estate process and worked tirelessly to find me the home of my dreams. He was never too busy to show me a house or explain something. Then in 2012 I sold that same house and Russ was there for me again. He sold it in virtually no time at all. Here it is 2016 and we still remain friends after all these years.
